shall i pack the big awning?

 

if we hadn't been stopping 2 nights in one place i wouldn't bother but it's worth it for 2 days.

 

i've sawn up a couple of big sacks of wood this morning, if i can get another strong bag i'll do another tomorrow morning, don't wanna tow my trailer so it's down to space but it should be ok.

 

We now have a couple of additions to the trip, me and the mrs are bringing 2 of the 4 grandkids.... told her to decide which 2, probably the middle 2 so 5/6 year olds, one boy one girl. This now means i'm towing my trailer as well purely to fit the stuff in! This also means i get the upstairs room in the van hoping to just pack the trailer with stuff needed for sat/sun night and just manage with space inside the van on friday, should prove "challenging" with 4 of us and 2 dogs.....

 

Nor me.
And I've got charcoal, but no BBQ.

 

we will be ok for wood, have i ever failed on a camp yet to provide wood, even on cold mornings i get wood,so i will bring enough wood....,
(enough wood innuendos?)
i'll try to bring more depending on trailer space, although i can always put some on the roof rack.

 

Right, well I'll bring the fire pit/log burner thingy, so we have something to contain Ricky's wood. We could also use it for zed's charcoal too, maybe? I have a barbecue grill thing that we can put on the top of it.

 

sorted, just had minor trailer panic, why do trailer lights work one day then the next time you use it the wiring pixies have been messing? all ok now, people don't forget the saturday sunday site doesnt have a shop on site and i'm unsure about friday nights so make sure you've got all you need for at least friday, presume we will pass a shop saturday so we can stock up if needs be, looking forward too it, so wish i could have tomorrow afternoon off to get sorted but i can't so pack tonight/tomorrow a.m and hope to leave work a bit early..... hoping to be there by 8pm bog stops and kids puking/wee'ing permitting....

 

yeah i get wood when i'm excited, sometimes soft wood sometimes hard wood, hard wood lasts longer.

 

Hope you all have a great time in the valleys everyone , wish we could av come but what with the language barrier and the mpg , may be next year. HAVE FUN 8)

 

all the mid wales valleys are now reservoirs for the water for the brummies....... just started pee'ing down at cannock lol, getting a habit this wet welsh run malc.
