  1. A couple of months ago i received a parcel from JK containing a pair of wiper spindle covers - Freebie thanking me for my support over the years -

Only a couple of quid each but a nice gesture

Move on to last week and another surprise package from the JK shed , a single rear bump stop -

    £7.50 - nice

The email attatched to the invoice read thus :-

    Hi Chris

    Thank you for your order.

Please find your purchase invoice attached, we have settled against this invoice value.

If there is a difference between the amount on the invoice and the amount of your original order, please see the dispatch note (to follow) as some products may be shipped at a later date.

    Thanks,
    Team JK

I tend to use the JK `basket` as an overall reminder storing bin and chose then buy from better quality /cheaper / free postage suppliers , i haven`t bought much from JK since the mini resto in 2017-18 and then apart from the £420 Dometic fridge it was only a few small bits . These `freebies` were some of the 20ish small parts in my basket - anyone else getting freebies ??

Or more`s the point should i fill mi basket with high ticket items

    :hattip:

I fell out with them. They refused to take some stuff back because it was over 90 days - I only wanted credit, not a refund. But they can afford to give stuff away?! It was only £50 of returns and I wanted to spend £100. I suspect it was because one return item was a repro window reg. Bunch of idiots; don't they know they have competitors? They really are the worst of the bunch. Outfits like Coolair bend over backwards to be helpful, they're my first choice now.

  10. I find them to be hit and miss. All pretty much the same though never had a problem with Coolair, Schofields or Custom and Commercial. What a strange name for a classic VW supplier. Love to know the history behind C&Co_O

Enjoy the freebies whilst you can!

Same for me Mark, I ordered a pair (LH+RH) of window scrappers, JK sent two LH but I didn’t notice until after the 90-day return deadline. I didn’t want a refund or even a credit I just wanted what I had ordered but their response was to quote the T&Cs and refused to exchange it.

Anyone want a new LH cab door window scrapper still in the original packing?:)

  14. Not keen on C&C, they re keyed a 67 lock for me and broke the guide pin, they fixed it but to send it back broken was unforgivable, and don't get me started on their silicon rocker gaskets ;)

The new locks and handles from C&C and their silicone rocker gaskets have been spot on.

  16. Is the quality any good? Mine are now scratching the glass:eek:

  17. Just to add to my previous message, I do admire them for investing in their Preservation Parts range. The panels I have had from them have been excellent.

I avoid ‘new’ wherever possible. Either genuine old stock if you can find or second hand for me. ‘New’ is always my last choice.

JK couldn't do enough in the beginning as I well remember 30 Years ago and I was well looked after.
Gradually slipped away for me when I turned up to buy an awning and they were having a sales training session and I had to wait nearly an hour to buy it. Turned out that the awning was not really as expected....
Luckily I was able to put it to good use on another better awning.
