JK chrome plated bumpers

Would you bother ?

There are a couple of disclaimers regarding regular cleaning necessary etc.

 

The quality of the chrome is very poor

 

most modern chrome is crap but some is more crap than others! if you want best chrome find a set original deluxe bumpers.

Have you guys seen the latest in chrome paint? Much cheaper than buying new bumpers or having your current bumpers triple plated. Just get a couple spray cans mixed at your local paint shoppe. Take your bumpers off, hang them in your garage and paint them yourself.
If the bumpers get chipped or scratched, just touch it up. If you don't like it, paint them white again.
You can also do your rims or the whole frickin' bus if ya want. (wouldn't you love to see a chrome-painted bus? 8) )

Yep it's these ones - you just choose the chrome option instead of primer

They had a sale on in September and I got £25 off so was well pleased. Just couldn't stretch to £600 for steel at this point, and these should last 4 or 5 years with care til then

its £250 a litre without the black undercoat you need to paint it first, and if theres any inperfections in the undercoat is stands out a mile and you have to re do it all, right pain in the arse. id go for stainless steel bumpers if it was me.
