Buttys bits do a replacement for that bit of wire that falls out... A pair of rose joints and some bolts. (I made one with parts off eBay and what with buying the wrong parts the first time, it ended up costing more than the Buttys Bits one... ) Can I suggest you get some Fertan rust converter or similar and a wire brush before the pedal falls off completely, as it looks like that region has done chicken shed duty. My throttle pedal fell over sideways once, but it seems it had been welded back in about 4 times judging from the puff-pastry like metal below it.
Not to worry Ive hit it with Plus Gas so I can get the pin out tomorrow. I'll go all over with a wire wheel and strip disc before painting with combicolour in L90D. Unfortunately I don't have time to wait for Buttys Bits so will see if I can salvage a replacement rod tomorrow. I am picking up a spring and new pin tomorrow as well. Out of interest does anyone know the P/N for the rod?
Or an excellent welded on bearing to make it roll real nice and a big spring at the back.. .. when you replace that spring under the pedal it bareley lifts it add the extra one underneath clipped around the chassis and through the lever Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
