I have a friend that has been considering it, so will look forward to hearing of other folks opinions of their friends opinions…

According to a friend… £40 is very cheap, average is £60-80, most probably run from the same server but with additional options for Netflix and film servers, or number of devices that can be used with a single login, or mobile access via app. About 95% reliable with odd outage that’s resolved fairly quick. ;)

£70 a year is about normal for a good reliable service , you will buy it cheaper but take the chance of it not lasting the duration you paid for .

  7. Yep, £60 a year I think it was, its not 100% but 95%. Got through Kings Media, good app via firestick with Sky looking TV guide. Can't record. All recent films on quickly, new Top Gun was on there weeks ago

Apparently my friend has had his for 2 years now from the same source. Yes he/she says that there are the odd blips but to be able to access sky sports, BT plus most of the Saturday 3.00 kickoffs etc etc. for £40 pa is very good. Apparently my friend also pays for a Surfshark VPN approx £30 for 2 years.
The annual charge can be paid monthly!

I never said Sky were not .

Somehow I get by with paying for the BBC, and occasional dips into Amazon Prime Video.

Winding people up on TLB is a lot cheaper, for £10 a year ..
