Afternoon all, I’m Tony. Was guided here by a chap on TheSamba.. apologies for not recalling his name but thanks for the guidance anyway! About my bus.... it’s a 72 crossover running a 1776 that I personally built so I’m chuffed with that. I’m not chuffed with the bodywork or paint , I didn’t do the bodywork but I did do the paint! I will point out I’m not a professional spray painter... that will be obvious when you see the bus! I had previously a 1971 superbug convertible when I lived in Australia. Again I build a nice 1641 for that and it was a beauty! However my first introduction into VWs was a 67 split, which was my favourite by far. About me , well for my sins I’m a licensed aircraft engineer qualified on Airbus and bombardier types. So I know how some things works and how to fix them! So ... that’s me!
Yeah I meant to put cross dresser as I don’t know what it’s supposed to be!! Blooming iPhones and their auto correct text! Crossover.... that’s better.
Heheheheheheheheheheh welcome to the forum. there is a swear filter on here that stops swearing, and of course, cross0ver is a swear word!!
The swear filter can be amusing at times. Welcome aboard as everyone on hear is going to say .................we love pictures............... Whereabouts are you btw?
Haven’t mastered your photo sharing system yet. Also my bus is still in progress and is due for its first overnight outing in around 3 weeks. I’m in West Midlands by the way! I will try and post more action shots at a later date.
