There’s a ‘Blue Plaque’ up the top of Broadway (a road) with her name on it.(it could be another road, but it’s somewhere here).

 

Also, Montgomery did a bit of war planning in the Portway Hotel here.

And just outside of Frome is Vallis Vale. A SSSI sight. One of the only places where you can see the meeting of 2 platonic plates meeting each other diagonally.

 

Bob Geldolf was down here the other week, bumbling around St Catherine Hill.( Full of ‘Artisan’ )shops.

 

We get ‘em all here, don’t you know. There’s a caravan camp site just outside. Perhaps you could all come and look for yourselves.
I think they may do ‘safe camping’, but I will have to check...

 

We did a camp a few years ago at the back of the bell at buckland was thinking of organising one at the Tuckers to show a proper pub but a virus got in the way.
