My insurance on the pickup is due towards the end of January. I’ve used Carole Nash up to now but they’ve upped the premium by £31 (a 31% increase) on last year. It’s not an outrageous quote but I thought it prudent to shop around before accepting. Thanks, Stirlingmoz
I was with RH for years. But the last couple years I’ve found them to be getting more expensive and less helpful. couple Of months ago I moved my bikes to a multi bike policy with Carole nash, when my bus was due for renewal I got a quote form QN aswell and found them really reasonable, they have been good so far... time will tell.
They all do the same. Price stays low for 3-4 years then starts to rise significantly. Been there done that with most of the usual suspects. I’m expecting my next CN renewal to be when it starts.
Rh for me too with agreed valuation. I like it that you can add and remove cars without admin fees and also get breakdown cover Inc. Always handy, touch wood I've not needed it yet.
I was with RH for years as well but the price went up too much so this time Just Kampers were very helpful and significantly cheaper.
I'm just sorting my insurance renewal from Carol Nash too. Original quote was 66% more than last year! Phoned them up and got down to about 33% more but think I'll try RH for a quote now.
Best way I found of reducing quotes was to question the 'extras' such as breakdown cover , higher excess , key cover , homestart etc etc ... Halved it a couple of years ago Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Classicline here too. Unlimited mileage, EU breakdown cover, club discounts... I paid just under £160 in November.
Mine has gone up about £40, thats only 12% increase. What we dont know is how good any provider of insurance actually is at settling claims.
I've used 2gether insurance for about 8 years now and the premium hasn't ever really shifted that much during that time (tolerance of a few quid up or down). I think I pay not far off 100 quid.
I've always been with Justkampers insurance since I got the van 11 years ago. Just got my renewal and it's a few quid less than last year at £130. I confess that I can't be bothered to shop around...unless Admiral and their ilk really can save me £250 on my annual premium.
