I think the most times I've had to wait ages for a car to leave the pumps it's been a bloke driving. And without a shadow of a doubt women, generally, do make better drivers and I should know I've trained loads of them.
With every forecourt covered by cctv now, why cant men and women drive away from the pumps, park up then pay/shop?
i still haven't got used to having an immobiliser. the amount of times i've wearily gone to start the camper up and the engine's dead. i'm with zed on this one, the more narky the folk behind me, the...s.l.o.w.e.r.....i.....g......o
Nothing to do with who are better drivers, its the start up time I am talking about, are the men you are on about wearing a trilby or flat cap?
Men wearing hats in cars! When I was younger it was senile old men in flat caps who didn't have a clue what was happening around them. Now we have another group of hat wearing drivers to contend with as well. 17 year old boys who simply don't care what's happening around them. A good rule of thumb is to be very nervous if you see a man wearing a hat and driving a car.
