Afternoon all. Have had a few months away from the scene and now wanting to get out in the bus again. In true fashion, my indicators aren't working! Nor are my hazards. If I put either the indicators or the hazards on, the light on the dash just goes solid, and none of the exterior lights come on. I've wiggled the relay, and replaced it with a spare I had, but nothing! All the fuses in the main fuse box are ok. Is there a separate fuse somewhere I'm missing?!
Check the lamp is turned in its housing completely, I changed the bezel on mine the other week and the lamps didn’t work, removed and twisted fully and back working. If you have a multimeter, you can check on ohms that the lamp is ok and on volts that the wiring is outputting 12 volts.
Check the connector in the steering column to the indicator unit, mines comes loose and needs a bit of a push.
Sorted it! Took the dash panel off and the top of the hazard light switch had come apart. Reconnected and secured with cable ties and all is well again! Phew!
