WANTED Indicator Switch Bay 1973

Can anyone help me find an indicator switch for a 1973 Bay? Its the paddle type with housing.

The indicator switch is VW part No. 211 953 509 H, the manufacturer is SWF and their part number is HLS 201 096.

 

I have been looking for a while. No joy.

Mostly, bodged. I mean, I guess it depends exactly what your issue is. You haven't really mentioned what is broken exactly, only what you can't find. I can't find either.

I was very lucky to find a complete set on ebay of the indicator stalk/wiper stalk..

Although i bought it without knowing too much... My van is 79.. It arrived and i was then told it was wrong for mine as the ignition housing etx is different..

By absolute fluke my van has the 73 crossdresser ignition housing fitted anywho.. Phew

If the broken internals are the white plastic things, I believe that there are some 3d printable models available and you can get those made to replace yours.

I am not 100% sure where to find them though.
