Indicator stalk gone floppy

  1. Someone, if memory serves, perhaps on the Samba was 3D printing new internal components for these indicators, much less than £150. Worth a look?

Wasn't that was just for the auto cancel? Or does he do more parts? I'm still waiting for someone to say how great they are after more than 5 minutes. My cancelling ring ate mine - looks like a tricky job so I'd be annoyed if the new part didn't last long.

  3. No idea, to be honest, but thought it was worth mentioning.

  4. @Nils is the guy who prints internals.
I bought some off him. Good bits and a man of your skills @zedders will have no trouble fixing it.

  5. Probably best to find out what's gone wrong first.

Mine had a crack in the greasy nylon, you cant glue it easily , but it had got wider, so the cable ties pulled the sides back in .

  7. Thanks - I'll look out for the pics.

  8. Sorry, it's the chunky chrome 20200527_092016.jpg one that I've got.

I think that they may be interchangeable as my 68 has the slim one whereas it should have the chunky one.

  9. Thanks very much - I will phone a friend who knows better than me and get back to you.

  10. Just to finish this off I have decided to try and find a NOS stalk so will put it on WANTED section. Got plenty of time thanks to coronavirus.
