Hang in there until Lizzie get back at midday and I'll ask her for a potion. She made me something out of her essential oils last week and it was like she's waved her magic wand!!!

Menthol and eucalyptus in very hot water - towel over head, breathe deep.

    Honey and lemon for throat.

Plenty of water, plenty of sleep.

  4. Donnups has just gone through having that. Proper knocked her for 6 which is rare as she tends to just crack on and not let things get to her. Sent her to the GP who informed her that its viral. GP advised her to pop 2 paracetamol` followed by 2 ibuprofen 2 hours later and then just stagger them from then on. Add a few hot toddies with a shot of brandy in and she was good as new after a couple of days. Also sleep when you can as the rest even if its not a full nod off sleep helps.

  8. Brandy and hot lemonade, if you are feeling really bunged a find that nothing clears it faster than wasabi (stick it on a small cracker with a bit of cheese).

  9. A mate also had it and he said the best way of relieving the bunged up ness was to go outside. He said he felt much better and felt his sinuses clear due to the fresh air. He just spent a few days tinkering around with his car and found lots of things to do. Bit mental if you ask me but hey ho if it works it works.
