I'm after some late bay advice, Ive owned my mk2 golf for around 12 years now and what I thought was crushed jacking points has escalated to several issues having looked fully over the car. I've removed the plastic side skirts and arch covers and its showing some serious signs of rot and am in two minds on what I should do. I have zero knowledge on welding / bodywork so will have to out source all the work.

Having prodded around it will need at least inner and outer sills on the nearside. Rust round the upper shock mount needs cutting out. A lower corner arch repair. Hole near the rear axle mounting so axle needs removing. Then on the offside it will need some work on both jacking points. On the plus side it scrubs up well and its super reliable. :(

Here are a few pics
