Sitting in an office all alone working for 70 hours each week gets really boring and very lonely after a few years. I'm there now. TLB's my only company. My bus is the only reward. Anyone else out there feel the same? Anyway, must get back to work.........
No, I'm fine. Really. Didn't want anyone feeling sorry for me. Just wanted to say it's nice to have TLB to keep me company.
Strange really , i drive trucks at night and would expect to out lonely most office bound people , but it appears i don't , in fact my jobs quite sociable , i meet office staff when i go in , i meet warehouse staff and other drivers , then i drive to where ever and meet the night workers there , have tea and a chat etc , then i am constantly in touch with home n mates on the handsfree , when i get back to my depot at 3 am i meet my fellow drivers and we have tea with the gateman . i feel sorry for people locked in offices , although i did site visits i was office bound for too many years in a previous life .
i live most of my life living out of a bag and being in transit through airports. The travelling is not the jolly most people believe it is, and then if I do get to see something amazing, or touristy i'm on my own so don't have anyone to share it with.
