Please scroll down to identify your baywindow door type. I have just brought a really nice door for a very reasonable price and I think it's the wrong type !? The inside door button lock is incorporated in the inside door handle and not a button type like mine . So would this be an prototype bay one and can it be used on mine or is there other odd differences? Only consolation it was only 9 miles from my house .

I have made it a sticky in mech n tech. We don't have a specific 'how to' section. I may change the title if @Milky is agreeable to it.
I thought the folder at the top of the mech tech section was the place for how to items or am I seeing something you don't or is it the beer?(possible excess of "pressed rat and warthog" on Saturday)
Yes, just popped on to the laptop. It looks like that section needs some kind of updating. There isn't many views on the topics. Well done.
I think it's the positioning of the banner. too high up and above the immediate eye area. People tend to scroll down right away and miss it.
Well judging by the two access panels and lack of sliding vent I reckons mine's from around the 1969-1970 . Great ! but not the 1974ish era door I am after so if anyone has this type of door for sale I would be very interested. Great site and thanks for all the help everyone.
I think it would work better as a sticky in the mech n tech section rather than up out of the way where it is. Iād forgotten we had it tbh
Very informative and useful when it came to sorting out some spare doors and getting `em to fit Good idea to make it a sticky - Many thanks @Poptop2
When I had them off for painting 6 years back I found that my doors have what I assume is a date stamp on them. I think there are other locations where the panels have been stamped similarly.
