'How To' fit deluxe window trim

Discussion in 'How To' started by gumbo, Aug 29, 2011.

  1. iv heard conflicting reports regarding whether deluxe trim should be fitted before or after the window is fitted . i fitted my windscreen trim today with the window in place and it was easy .

Cheers Gumbo for re-pointing me to this, anyone got a link to fitting ascreen with the old string method?

  13. It's easy rick . best use chainsaw/generator pull cord string . doesn't snap

As well as the crossed ends at, say, the bottom, make a loop opposite at the top. Start and work top and bottom together working from centre outwards. By the time you get to the ends, which initially will look like they won't fit, they will. :) I can do it solo no probs like this.
