Had a right result. Nick (who lives between me and Keith) bought some type 1 tins I had for £150 and then found me the spare type 4 ones I need to complete my set. I then spent three times that on MORE go faster bits for the rebuild. Should be a rocket when it's done and look good too! Decided on black tins and a green fan housing.
Ok so I'm almost back to where I started with the engine, this is where it gets difficult. There appears to be some bits missing that I have no knowledge of. I think there should be some steel bracketry to hang the alternator off of, I also need an alternator pulley and a spring clip for the breather box.
