just a big heave worked the one time i did it ( this was just before the sound of rotten fabric slowly splitting so i got off quickly) practically i think stand on rock n roll bed and stick your leg in the air. bek - in a practical mood
In my last bus there was a unit behind the passenger seat. I'm fitting the same to my current bus. The only way to get to the double roof bed is to climb on the unit. One foot on the lower bed first, next the other foot on to the unit, then Bob's your Uncle you're in the roof bed.
Provided the buddy seat isn't out in the awning, I hop onto that, step onto the unit and then up onto the upstairs bed. If the buddy seat is out in the awning, then I hop onto the end of the r&r bed to get to the unit and then up. Or - if I'm slightly pickled in gin - I'll stand on the sink chatting crap to the husband for ages, forget the lid is made of glass and my arse is made of a lot of chocolate and crisps, and then promptly crash right through it ;D
