  1. Any other house husbands/stay at home dads on here? Do you feel like a stereotypical housewife tied to the kitchen sink or you havin it large every day? What do you do all day?

  2. Humm in a way I am as I work from home, and where possible I lard around all day watching tv and eating junk food............so yes I must feel like a housewife, but I don't do any house work lol.
Today : I woke at 7.30, had coffee / breakfast / started work at around 9, then took a break at 9.30 to watch WW2 in colour and HD that iv'e been recording, then I was in the mood for more so I watched Hitlers generals.... then I went back to work at around 11am....at 12 I had lunch and a nap as I had a full belly, started work again around 2 until the kids got home at 3,30 and made it impossible to concentrate, so I started watching reruns of Stargate SG1.my boss emailed me at 5.10 pm (thank god for smart phone notifications i say) so I started work again......I am now taking a break to work on my MBA thesis ! (bored) so on TLB.... and that's pretty much my day

  3. I am, not out of choice. I have a healthy respect for stay at home mums (and dads).

Lots to do made harder with a little one under your feet.

  4. I tend to do 70% of the cooking, washing, cleaning etc (and go to work).
It used to be more 50/50 - but I am doing most of it at the moment.

    I don't mind at all ....

  13. I work for myself from home, i do 70% of housework , mainly because i luv cooking, can control the hoover and reach the washing line :)), But betty has a sit down ironing board so i let her do that ;). When i was a single dad i did the lot, but like someones already said its not the kids fault and they preferred my cooking anyway :)) . My fathers generation didnt even boil an egg but, them days one wage......... paid the bills how things change ay!!!

  14. Tuesday wildchild

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

I did nothing for a year while the woman went to work. she'd give things todo I did most in the last 2hrs before she got home and the rest play on comp or whatching tv. its a doodle.

We are both at home now and I'm doing more :( not as in housework its renovations and when its all done I might look for a little job.

  15. I was a single dad with three kids and I loved it ,had time to do lots of stuff while the wee ones were sleeping, when all three started school I had more time to do lots of stuff ,realy enjoyed stuff like picking them up from school on the bikes and having time to watch them grow up....The first walk etc are priceless.. O0

If found looking after them quite easy and could have had a few more children...

If I had my life again, I defo would have that time again.... O0

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

The worst thing can apply to any stay at home parent, and that's lack of adult conversation. So they yell me.

do i give the kids coco pops or corn flakes this morning?

do i hoover upstairs or downstairs first?

should i wash whites or colours today?

should i watch jeremy kyle or loose woman?
