If it keeps getting hotter in Australia, will all the ten pound poms be wanting to come back to England then? And will Farage etc let them in?

Myself, Ms.T and the Eldest Unmarried Daughter all travel on British / EU passports so we can come and go to the UK as we want. :)

As Ms.T and I were born in the UK and Eldest Unmarried gets one by descent.

  8. Ah, I didn't realise Ms T was born here.

My sister in law was born in NY whilst her parents were living/working there but gave up her rights some years ago and has never been back after they came home in the mid 1960's. Whilst I'm not overly bothered about living there I personally would have kept the option.

Ms.T was born and lived in Holland Park before her father and mother moved to Australia in 1976 when she was 12.

How are things up your way Rob?

  14. Back in the 80's I lived and worked in Oman in Muscat and most of the time the temperature was 35C to 42C and climbed to 48C in August. Air con was essential for home and work, but when the power supply failed, which it did sometimes, the heat became difficult.

Most days were sunny with blue sky so no clouds to ease it a bit.
