  1. Discs on the front, but no servo.I had a 73 twin slider before this one WITH a servo.I guess that was the only difference. And thank you.

i meant the rear drums are different from early to crossdresser to full late - 72 had one year only rear drums, the servo is by the by, some do some don't...... depends what it was made as - delivery van or kombi etc, all depends on the spec' ordered i guess.

To be fair the adverts been on here for 2 days.....
Looking around at asking prices generally they're shooting up again; must be the weather.

  8. Worth every penny with all the history.

  9. Sorting the rust around the windscreen would help your sale. ;)

  10. Your right, but i have my own business ,3 kids and no time.It would be a piece of cake for someone who knows what they are doing, and to be frankly honest, i wouldnt want to sell it to anyone that dosnt.I have been quoted around £1500 for it to be done (screen out,new metal in e.t.c) but to be honest, once the repair sections ,filler and paint have been bought,a competant person could do it his/her self for around £200.00.And i simply dont have the time and place to do it unfortunatly. And as for a 'rusty, old van'...You need some glases.lol

  11. No offence...

  12. Not for sale now as had a change of heart...

  16. I think/believe my 72's a crossdresser. 'Cos some parts fit and others have to be 'made to fit'!

struggling to see if it's a K? it deffo has large rear vents which makes it late/cross but high indicators and early bumpers? wierd - unless it's had a new front or retro fitment of the bumpers? i thought K was 1/8/71 to 31/7/72 so it wouldn't have had high indicators on a K originally? i'm sure someone will add to this @Duble agent V.W.Ford

  19. Diff front,is there a round bump under spare wheel for the badge..?

  20. ours is a Feb 72 K reg , cross over ,low lights , I struggle with identifying the later crossdresser's
