It is a very friendly and helpful forum. I'm sure Mick meant no offence. I know first hand Mick is a good un, I broke down on the Isle of wight and he came and helped me, id never met him, in fact i'd hardly even interacted with him on the forum. Don't be put off by a few hastily written words on a thread. This is a great forum and a great community of vw lovers. There is banter, but people are very helpful
with the rust blasted off it looks in ok condition ,even under the windows... btw that split has a crazy top...
I don't think anyone meant to be offensive it just seems to be a lot of work to complete in two weeks metal work prep paint ect But you could put some Piccys up throughout the process and prove everyone wrong Hello and welcome by the way
I don't know Alan or have ever met him but I do know of him and he knows his stuff, He has been renovating old classic vehicles for a while, not always Vw's but old Commers, Bedfords and other stuff.
One reply that you might see as negative out of all the welcome from here, from there ones and that's it'? He's off? Is this some kind of record?
tbh Mick was'nt that bad and if you cannot go with the flow and have a thick skin , forums are probably not for you... Win some lose some ... I did notice you there...
