Will do Ted, structurally it was sound but the lads doing the restore found a couple of nasties once they got under way - did you get Mabel complete with the bars and canopy or did you have to get that from somewhere?
Mabel came with all you see, just spent £400 on roof and bumper spray and rear quarter refresh She also has a 2 litre twin carb which flew, sure it had been tuned!!! New owner should be joining on here some time Hoops and bows are expensive in UK but are cheap as chips in Germany if you know anyone that speaks German and uses eBay de Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nice motor there Lee, you'll have seen mine mostly in bits - that's quite a few crewcabs for the area isn't, didn't realise I was getting something as common as muck

Haven't joined any of those, thought i might wait until mine is on the road but even then i think when mines ready it will be just in time to get garaged for winter lol

You can still join the local clubs!!!! Angel VW club is on Facebook, dead easy & full of local recommendations & stuff!! Flat4dubs is good, we go to the pub once a month, seriously, it's sometimes my only night out!!!!!!
