    I sent two PayPal payments the first was returned as for some reason it was un recognised and the second seems to have been ok but I had no supporter banner

    The issue isn't with me having a bank account, or indeed setting one up; it's that it needs to be a special type of account for community groups. It also needs to have more than just me named on the account. This seems to mean more hoops to jump through, and more phaff. If it comes to nothing, I'll take a look at Wise, although I've never heard of them and every bank I looked at required me to have an established bank account with them already to allow me to open one designed for community groups and 'treasurers'. Thanks for the info though, and I'll take a look.

    Used to be called transferwise. I have about 10 or difference clients with them and use them myself. Everything done online including ID checks etc.

    I can highly recommend.

    Yes, they certainly are being pro-active about it.
    I’ve only had one message this week, but there’s been three or four previous ones over the last 6 months/year
