HELP!!! Need assistance in formalities of importing from USA

Hi there ,,I use Hills Shipping ,very very good ,they do all the BTI stuff and once docked at port you pay the handling charges ,vat @5% under the ruling and you then collect ,its scary but if you get to use two shippers stateside and here who work together its reasonably smooth !!hope this helps

 

The BTI system has been changed, they have ditched the old paper based postal application system and is now on line, it's a complete ball ache to complete but if anyone needs help give me or sharpey a shout as we've just both completed one. Mine came through in around 6 weeks, sharpey has applied and is awaiting confirmation.
