Went to the bus this morning and couldnt engage gear... followed advice as per below (from previous post) 'do not adjust the cable just yet with engine off try and select the gears. if you can its the clutch or cable. if you cant its the linkage or the box if you think its the cable you need to see how slack it is by getting someone to push the pedal while you are on the cable end. see if the arm has a bit more movement. if you over adjust the cable the clutch will drag and slip causing it to wear very quickly' Question is what do i do now, I am compelled to look at the cable but any other advice would be welcome... Ta
Cable adjusted, first time too tight, clutch was sliiping, backed wing nut off a touch now runs like a dream...
