As above, Bassetts is still in Sheffield behind the dog track in Owlerton. They make Allsorts there!
The factory in Chesterfield is no longer there, they made amongst other things Trebor mints.
I used to supply the adhesive for their packaging:D

The camper is now red/white and the last camping trip looked like this
    [IMG]

    But ended like this
    [IMG]

    The beetle looked like this
    [IMG]

but after realising it was not just new heater channels it required it went to a fabricator for welding last year (is still at the sprayers now). Pictures of the work done are on this site
    under beetle restoration

The T5 is an off road grey Combi and is the T30 174bhp. We did think about converting but have decided it is practical for us s is

The wife drives (and loves) the newbie

The 1974 Honda CD175 I have owned some 23yrs now
    [IMG]

The only Honda 400/4 I bought as a running example is this and like the other it is currently in parts
    [IMG]

The Honda C50 is sat unused as DVLA wont let me tax it as there is no frame number stamped on it
    [IMG]

My brothers Chalys were like this last year, but I lost my interest in working on them as I never saw him come or offer to help do the restoration.

However I got a new heavy duty gazebo in January so work has restarted
    [IMG]

and last but not least is the silver bullet. The 1995 1.0litre Micra that is surprisingly reliable and not a bad £250 investment 12 months ago. Still only got 52,000 mile on the clock LOL

With my friend (yes I have one) having his own breakers yard I acquired a spare engine that has only done 20k along with the suspension parts just in case my driving it like I stole attitude results in an engine blow up or broken spring.
