Strange question time.....do you have an Auntie who lives in Masham? It's just one of our regulars in the P/O says she has a nephew who does a bit with VW's over near Northallerton?

Theres two dub garages near me though
One at leeming bar and another near brompton so she may be reffering to one of them

 

Oh...ok.....thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.....do you know anything about either of the garages? Have you used them in the past? Just wanting to put together a list of places near by just incase I need something doing that I don't feel up to myself.

 

I havent used either of them as i do my own work
I havent heard anything bad about either of them though

Im available to do a bit of work every now and then

 

That's real handy to know....might need a bit of advice as my leisure battery charging system seems a little bit suspect it
doesn't look like it's charging the battery, just did a 400 mile round trip and whilst we were away the leisure battery went flat (new battery) so I thought that the return trip would charge it up but it's as flat as a fart so I need to do some investigation ASAP as to why.

 

Does it have a fuse in the circuit?

I use Air Cooled Performance it's the one in Brompton, near Northallerton, Good guy called Darren, good rates and been on air cooled for lots of years. He also drag races cars as his hobby, serious stuff!

Yeah it has two? Just checked them both and they are ok

 

Nice looking interior, only wish mine was still in the original colours but I would have to agree the layout is pretty spot on apart from the hob and sink I think would have been better if they were switched around.....just to keep the smell of fried bacon away from the drivers seat.!!!

Thanks for the offer paradox I've found a diagram of how the circuit should be so I'm going to have a look and compare it with what I have and if I still have no joy I will deffo be in touch and arrange a trip over. Hope the house hunting goes ok....we are going to be in the same boat soon due to a work change that is being forced on us.
