Balls, thought it was going to be brown free around here and nice for a bit.

 

Busy day today but doing well slowly getting straight.
Have a lot of rubbish....

 

Good to get shot of someone else's smelly old carpet.
When we bought this house the carpets were minging and stank of wet dogs. The vendor tried to charge us extra to leave them.

 

You ain't kidding..... All carpets up, the bathroom one was a treat.....

 

Don't dig up the patio then. Never know what's under those slabs. May even find @poptop2 hiding.

 

Don't you dare act like the hero here, I got the bedroom and hall carpets out with zero protection and got to wear the same clothes home...

Of course I feigned injury and a reason to leave before the bog one needed to come out!

 

Bog carpets should NEVER smell of ammonia right?

Wood or tiles is all a floor needs with a rug here and there to soften the free of a room.

 

It's a cracking house though, got to say the length of the freakin garage means we walked more than Ian Botham taking boxes from one end to the other!

And for a warehouseman someone knows bobbins about double handling...

 

I've moved them all again since you went..... Had another takeaway tea... Living the dream.

 

But don't he just sit in some poky office in a warehouse bashing a keyboard to keep his post count up alday?
