Mrs Monkey's Marge. She's owned Marge, for around 11 years now. Marge has just under 53,000 documented miles on the clock which includes a trip through France to Murcia in Spain in 2007, extensive daily use whilst there and the return journey in early 2013 which took her down the coast road to Gibraltar and then north through the length of the country. Before we moved to Spain, outside Gilders on Ecclesall Rd Sheffield who supplied her in 1976 A pretty shot of the bug in the spectacular coastal scenery near where we lived in Puerto de Mazarron. In the background is Cabo Cope Muscling in on the action at this years Techenders.
here's mine - last owner had it for 28 years - painted 200 years ago in Violet Pearl, a VW Corrado colour. I lowered it on dropped spindles with standard ride height at the rear (thinking of dropping it one spline). Its only a 1300 but it drives lovely and is quite nippy! It's called Violet (very original!)
Here's my 1 year only "67. I've owned it since 2007. Still on her original floor pans. Just needs finishing.
