Seeing as Baywatcher asked for an update, here we are:

Not much to see Im afraid, we've been working on the sliding door repair, kitting out the cab doors (as per the last update) and ordering the interior from Scott @sjhjoinery. What I can say is that there isn't that much left to do, but heres a brief run down of whats left to do:
    1. Finish cab roof headliner
    2. fit cargo flooring
    3. fit seat belts
    4. check tracking up front
    5. set rear suspension height to level the van out (its nose high at the moment)
    6. fit rear trim panels
    7. fit interior when its ready
    8. install r n r bed
    9. paint & refit sliding door
    10. underseal remainder of the underside

Anyway, heres some photos of the cab roof lining - its a JK tintop westy kit

 theres nose high and theres nose high - the old Gusbus was lowered but the beam was foobared - we have a new stock height beam, the back is 1 spline down and sits way too low at the back. I'll grab a pic sunday & show you

That's the plan - we bought an angle measuring thingy, similar to what the Bentley manual shows so we will return to stock height

  11. Have you done the rubber doughnuts at the back before you move the splines?

We have replaced the outer ones - I have got a pair of inner ones somewhere in preparation for replacing the inner ones, may as well whilst its in bits!

Its been a good week progress wise, the middle part of the headlining in and lined up, cab door light nipped up nicely, the rear sliding door light fixed up and working and two roof mounted led spotlights in some nicely made aluminium alloy bezels:

bit more progress made this week - the last piece of roof lining is in, the lighting fastened up and working correctly, looking good (I am miffed about the mucky fingertips on it though)..next week we have got some edge trim to fit then its laying the floor down :)

Thanks mate :) there's some trim to add to neaten the edges up which is next weeks taks! It is beginning to look something like, it's only now we are seeing little bits of paintwork that needs a touch up!

  17. Those lights look amazing! Did you make them or buy them?

We made them from a chunk of forged aluminium alloy we happen to have sat at work :)
