Not for me but I am a Type 4, but this engine doesn't look too bad. Probably a small engine as it came out of beetle but for £150, is it worth it for the parts? Yep Jason's a good egg. He worked for me for nearly a year but I had to let him go as couldn't afford him. His welding is top notch. 1200 beetle engine only good for an early beetle. Parts no use for anything else.
i almost bought this last week , i was bidding on a 1302 beetle without engine -- it went for £370 and i was too busy to bid and missed the ending -- but had this engine on my watch list in case won the beetle
