Fuel tank filler pipe rubbers

  1. Hi
I have just spent the day removing the rubbers from each end of the metal fuel tank filler pipe.

As you can see they are both quite scuppered. I have found a replacement for the one on the left but can't seem to find any ref to the one on the left! It is the section that attaches the pipe to the tank! Anybody any ideas on what to use or where to get one from??

    Thanks :)

  3. Thanks Ricky, I don't know the quality of the one from custom and commercial but everything else I have bought from them has been good so I have ordered one of those, the piece for the other end you have put a link to looks ace, 57mm bore is right for me with 45 degree angle but not sure which I need, £43.00 one or £21.00 one??? What do you think?? :)

  4. i thought yours would be the straight one that heritage do as the bend looks to be in your metal pipe ? i've only ever changed the one ricky says is poo though which is the longer one

this is short early bays (and poss some crossovers)?-

And this is the long one, later bays and imho is about 20mm too short or was when i last fitted one

  5. It is interesting as my rubber hose isn't straight but it is less than 45 degrees! Do you think I would get away with a straight piece? :)

  6. I JUST BOUGHT BOTH THESE FROM COOLAIR, PLUS THE LOVELY DISCOUNT. ARRIVED NEXT DAY TOO. GOOD PRICE AND SERVICE

  13. If it is the short straight pipe maybe Heritage need to change their listing as stating 68 - 72 for the short straight is'nt helping anyone out looking for the part for later bay?
