  4. My first bike was a pedal moped for 46 pounds ,it was very unreliable ,then I got a fsie and that was worse ,that bike coupled with two Reliant regals got me into mechanic's ,purely because the shop tried to fix the fsie twice and charged my mum a bomb ,I thought I am not having a life paying unreliable mechanic's...:D

my commute was 7 miles the fsie made it for 2 weeks ,good job I liked cycling...

  6. I still have this out in the shed.It is an FS1S (FS1E is for England, FS1S for Sweden)This thread has brought back some memories, i started off with a TS50ER back when i was 16, then a brand new MTX125, then an RD250lc, a brand new RD350YPVS followed that, Cars then took over more and more with only an old XL250S for hooning around on. unnamed-3.jpg

I wasn't allowed a motorbike or scooter as a teenager. I desperately wanted a fizzy. I liked the Suzuki 50 but it was too high for me.
I seem to recall from my top trumps that puch was worst, munch was best!

I only got my first bike in my 30's. A Kawasaki z250 which I liked but dropped often as it weighed a ton and I was on tippy toes.

There's some good old small bikes on Spain but I can't remember their names. There was a guy showing a few at Gaydon in the summer. I shall try and find my photos.

  8. Me either, something to do with my grandfather being killed on a motorbike.
Then about ten years ago, I bought a '78 Honda ST70 for £100 and rebuilt it, every last nut and bolt.

I hated it, it's been parked up in the back of the garage for the last nine years.

  9. When I moved out of my Mum's house in the 80's, I had the best part of a dozen Fizzies in various states of disrepair.
I GAVE them to the local breakers as I didn't want to cart vast piles of shiite to my 1st flat. They're probably worth more than the flat now. :(

  10. I still have this in the garage though,

And one of these in big lumps to be rebuilt when I get time. (So not in the next 10 years then!)

And finally this, which is roadworthy but I never find the time to ride it.

  14. Is that a real one? i know mine and TBR,s arent :(

  15. Absolutely. As above, bought for one hundred notes and rebuilt to hang on the back of an or ange bay. Sadly at the time, I considered the flowered seat cover a bit crappy and sadly butchered a proper '78 lady dax.

    I CAN HAZ WOZ EVIL.
