Yep... I had an indicated 62 on an AP with similar mods...think we used to go a tooth bigger on the front sprocket though. Was Marmite at going up hills though..

my eldest brother got one for his 16th birthday(jammy barsteward), I was jealous as Marmitee but because he nearly killed himself that many times on it I wasn't allowed one............so 4 years later I bought myself a rally prepared 1300e escort which would very easily keep up with his capri with a rs 2000 in it. unfortunately I very nearly killed myself with that so my parents were not happy when I turned up with an rd 250lc, now that could scare you to death..........
Ive had about 40 bikes, but always hung on to that GS, eventually after 13 years i sold it, real nice guy bought it but his parting comment was " ive always wanted a rat bike" gutted! Barsteward!
My Dad has a 400/4 many years ago, was a bloody brilliant bike. I wish he'd kept it, not many around these days!
I'm I the only one to have had a Honda MT50? I thought it was the sexiest thing on two wheels and would make me the sexiest thing on two wheels. Still think I was half right... Now got a BMW F650gs (early but single spark) gathering dust and SORNed, which is really the same as the old Honda but with an engine thirteen times the size.
Which ABS version is that, the full power servo version? They can be a bit tricky if badly maintained because people don't understand them.
