I cant imagine the landed gentry doing that in there red coats full of port

  4. More foxes in towns now than in the country so Pete's picture is probably the best way to hunt them down ;-)

  6. To nail my colours to the mast I'm a former hunt sab and oponent of hunting foxes with dogs. If they are a problem in the countryside then get a marksman in and despatch them properly. Too many nimbys wanting foxes out of towns, too many farmers who couldnt shoot sh it and too many foxes being moved into the countryside rather than being despatched humanely to be killed inhumanely or as Para says fail to cut it in the countryside.

Thread meant to be amusing I think but couldnt resist the response. My Uncle was a Master of the Hunt at Holcombe Para - not sure if it was just an excuse for a ride out or whether they ever caught many foxes tbh but not the most humane method of despatching the critters!

  7. Don't like it, hate the thought of it, was glad when it was banned, that's all hehe

don't like hurting or killing for fun.

  9. Cant disagree with any of that dicky dude

The most humane way to dispatch any animal is instantly and the best way to ensure it happens instantly is a good marksman with an understanding of the animals lifecycle, habbitat and behaviour according to the seasons

I confuse myself with what side im supposed to stand on and i dont ever think ill manage to clarify it till the day i die

  11. Amazing how you can end up at exactly the same point coming from different viewpoints. If someone did want to post in support of hunting with dogs to balance this up then I for one wont be jumping down their throats on here btw.

  12. What about hunting with dogs for food?

Say using lurchers to take rabbits for the table

imo. as long as they are killed quickly and for a necessary reason then there is no issue

Most of the foxes in Croydon need to be taken out. I've not seen one that looks like Foxy bingo. That is unless under that suit he has mange and other associated scabby bits.

  15. To get mattys thread a little back on track for now (sorry matty)

What about swapping charlie for chavs

  17. Hunting Chavs with dogs. Unfortunately the "bad men" already do this to each other. Thats why they have these awful inbred animals!(the dogs I mean but could apply to the owners)

  18. opposite worlds with the same views is a strange occurance nowadays

Dicky your welcome to share space, food and drink around the fire with me dude

So is everyone else wether you agree with me or not

Its a short life and its made easier if we all accepted each other a little more

I may not agree with what others have to say but i will defend there right to say it

  19. yer not wrong. I'm up for a wild mushroom medley on a stonebaked flatbread with a bit of soft cheese melted in there, a few herbs and a nice cold peroni. Put another log on Para its getting chilly!
