I find it hard to understand why they didn't lay blame on either Ferrari - but I guess because they both crashed out it didn't matter, except that a Red Bull and Alonso's races were over becuase of their actions.

Max vercrashen was at the front, if was always going to end badly, think even the pundits said so.

  3. Yeah - I was thinking just before the start that Verstappen was going to take Vettel out on the first corner - in fact it was the other way round. Vettel's quote "I moved a little over to the left" - yeah - like half the track width over!

  4. I had a glimpse at the race highlights..

Still find F1 a shadow of itself...

This race looks like cars travelling in a grey concrete tunnel,
worse than Monaco ,not even glamorous...

Still can't get back into F1,
despite attending 13 races (in the good years)
and following it for 20 years,:(

Watched the Indy race much more like racing ..:chewie:

Despite doing an engine change between FP3 and Quali it looks like Vettel is out.

A spot of rain in Q3 would make things interesting :D

  10. Rain forecast for race tomorrow - so should be an interesting race for Vettel from the back.
Hamilton for the win unless Verstappen does his demolition again.

Not sure that's really fair on Verstappen!

I have a feeling if he gets into trouble tomorrow it'll be with Ricciardo

  12. Fixed that for you.

  13. To be fair, it was Vettel not Verstappen that started the Demolition Derby in Singapore

Well, that was an interesting race.
Especially after the flag when Stroll and Vettel had a coming together.
New gearbox for Mr. Vettel before Suzuka I'd reckon.

Red bull sure they don't want a Renault engine...

  16. .. and vettel blames stroll o_O watched the replay and the red car clearly swoops right into the side of a williams going in pretty much a straight line.

i have a feeling hamilton decided right from the start that with vettel at the back he wouldn't go head to head with nut job max and risk a collision - just let him go and take the points for second. any finish ahead of vettel extends his lead so why take the risk fighting verstappen?

  17. That's more or less what Verstappen implied in his interview -things could have gone pear shaped so a wise decision

It's not so much that RBR don't want the Renault engine, it's that Renault don't want RBR.

Well there is that. And unsurprising really.

But I'm sure RBR has tried very hard to get rid of Renault these past few years!
