Far from being a supporter of fox hunting or any form of blood sport , you may remember my comments on bull fighting on a recent thread .
Fortunately they very rarely get the fox on the number most people think . I know it's no consolation but it's usually the Knackerd old dogs that they catch , the young foxes easily out smart those mega thick hounds that trip over there own noses .
And even more so the Flash Goons on horseback who are so plastered on Bubbly old bean and frightfull amounts of Isle of Jura .....a bottle of what i like to think Lord Congi will bring to techenders .

Well....not quite, the gamekeeper blocks the entrances to the earths so the fox cannot get to safety.

They don't do it to be cruel of course, the fox enjoys the sport.

Foxes are used to finding new venues it's not uncommon for themto be turfed out, even badgers will do a take over . the point i am trying to make is the fox is smart and used to living a hard life ,the old saying "cunning as a fox " I ve even seen crows and magpies join together and attack foxes when they come into heavily populated corvidae area .
They are animals and unfortunately so are we . We as humans in the UK most of us live in a safe haven , unlike others being turfed out like in Syria all trying to find safe new venues having to take flack like the persecuted fox .
