Hi, I own a 73 Westfalia Bay and am in the process of rebuilding the van after a complete overhaul and respray. I have replaced all the window seals but I cannot get the C section seal in the fixed quarter light on the drivers and passenger doors to sit in the frame. The vertical seal is retained in a grove but there is no fixed grove on the C section of the frame. I have tried soapy solution, and clamping in one end and trying to work the rest of the seal into the frame but to no avail. Additionally I have tried wrapping the seal around the glass and trying to get it into the frame but no luck either. There must be a knack but I haven’t been able to work it out. If anyone has been able to resolve this problem or is able to shed any light on how it’s done, it would help Alan C
