Five Go Off Roading to Ribblehead Viaduct

    As we were only a few miles away from the awesomeness that is the Ribblehead Viaduct, the Dubs In't Dalers (ably led by Captain Pingu) decided to head out in convoy for a few photo opportunities.

    With some admiring glances coming our way through a few villages, we reached the viaduct and turned off to the service road to start some careful negotiation of some serious pot holes. A spot of off-roading later and we had our photo call...

    I did say to yorkshirecamper that it was a good job that we didn't come up with them as there wouldn't have been room under the arch for six vans and she said that they would have made us go under the next one in Anita and serve burgers! And cheesy chips obviously...

    moreso network rail property, i know from my train circles it's the done thing but it is actually off limits....that said i'd have loved to have been in the pictures and i'd have gone at a shot!

    i bow to your superior knowledge, the lads on the rail forum i use frowned upon some pictures once posted stating it was off limits, i stand corrected.
