This engine has now done over 600 miles. The carbs have been jetted to the specs that empi recommend for a 2l. (Jets from eBay). I bought a a balancer again off eBay and I've now got a van that flies. I took my dad out for a spin and he admitted it scared him a bit. (I wasn't even thrashing it) I'll do a couple of hundred more miles and drop the oil for a third time
