I was in the memorabilia shop Tunbridge Wells today when I saw this and I just had to buy it, it is a poster of the first concert I ever went to, David Bowie at the Rainbow theatre 19th August 1972, but it was the support act an unknown band by the name of Roxy Music that turned out to be the ones that blew me and my mates away they were fantastic that night and we've been fans ever since,
What was your first concert and are you still a fan?

  8. Ozzy Osbourne with the Black Sabbath reunion in 1988? aged about 16. Got my photo in Kerrang magazine, I'm about half a centimetre in the crowd. My carryout was vodka and coke. The guitarist bought dunpy heineken bottles...what a girl.

  9. Blimey, it's hard to remember but it was either Bowie or Sensational Alex Harvey Band both in 73 and both at Chatham central hall.

  10. About the mid sixties I think at Birmingham Odeon on New Street. Acts included The Walker Brothers, The Troggs, Dave Dee, Dozy, Mick and Titch

  12. It was either Transvision Vamp or Voice Of The Beehive, they played about a month apart, at the university of East Anglia. The third was Motorhead. That was the day I learnt that headbanging really hurts your neck.
