Did anyone's come with fireproof cable ties? I remember someone saying they came with it.

Was going to give Firetec a call to check, as I didn't get them, but first just wanted to see if anyone else did get them.

Stuart, you too dude. I think the LLBMMU is a great idea, should definitely start a new thread for it, I know a couple who I am sure will be up for it.

Gary the name of mechanic at Gary Angel Racing is Luke,

 

Tim at Firetec doesn't remember ever sending cable ties out (!) He suggests they be purchased from cable ties direct (tel: 0114) 249 9259) and occasionally include a few in a box, but never as standard kit. These cost about 2p each from cable ties direct. Use size 200mm x 4.8 mm.

If the unit discharges (either accidentally or on purpose) & it is out of warranty the rebuild cost is 50% of the unit cost...

 

Another group buy for cable ties then?!?!?!?!?!?! ;D
