FI air flow meter sensor

  1. Hi there.
Does anyone know the type or size of the thermistor / sensor inside the AFM part no. 0280 200 020
It's the only sensor left to change to try and stop the engine idle dropping to a stall on hot idle. The only info I can find is for testing. [IMG]

    For more info?

why not connect up a potentiometer or some fixed resistors say 3kohms to simulate 20 deg c air. Just as a process of elimination
Must be some kind of NTC sensor?

  3. I did try increasing the ohms using a potentiometer but it made things worse but then if the sensor is intermittent at over certain temps it wouldn't work anyway. I've got a 2k thermistor on order. I'll try the potentiometer with that.
I have just noticed the readings for this sensor are very much like the ts2 sensor
