  3. Agreed , it`s all down to interpretation ...

Around here the only things closed are pubs , charity shops and the odd clothes shop .
I do find it annoying that Poundland is still fully open but supermarkets can sell essentials only ??
The shoe repair place is open (essential ??) and all the cafes are open (dozens) , just selling take-aways but they`ve decided it`s ok to spill outside with half a dozen tables and chairs for their `take away ` customers to use and reducing pedestrians on the pavement to squeeze past single file . Ironic really as the police station is just up the road - like they care

Another mistake by the govenment - expecting businesses to `do the right thing` ...

    :hattip:

  4. Thank God Waitrose is still open! We're almost out of falafel

    Lamest lockdown ever.

The odd office worker may be working from home, but that’s about it round our way.

  9. It is classed as Essential, should be ok.

Thankfully, in the South there's been no panic buying of quiche.

Snots, did you get the George Monbiot In His Underwear 2021 Calendar you were after? My Polly Toynbee one was delivered to the old fella next door by mistake (damn you Hermes!!) and now he won’t give it back :(

  16. George sent me a 2021 Progressive Sheep On The Upper Pastures diary, so I'm ok thanks. It's published by a collective of vegan Amazonian tribeswomen, which I think speaks volumes for his values.

Have you finished with the Polly Toynbee Swimsuit Edition you borrowed, BTW?

Actually I passed a tree with goats in on the way back to Marrakech from the ethically based argan oil factory:

They run trips there to extract monies from tourists - ethically of course.
