I've always tipped Lewis to win the world championship in 2012 and Schumie in 2013. Lewis really showed the true racer he really is yesterday, fantastic win! On the right day, with the right head, when it comes down to true grit racing, Lewis will always shine over Button.
I couldn't understand why McLaren put a 2nd set of red tyres on buttons car when there was 40 laps to go, they'd never last that long, odd strategy !!
According to Pirelli bosses today (18 June), they expect the quickest driver around Valencia this weekend to be the quickest driver around Monaco a few weeks back in qualifying. In other words, Schumacher. Could be interesting, if only the car doesn't break down again.
Have to agree Jen, 3 of the top 6 drop out, 2 break downs, how many crashes, how much over taking, some great drives, and some not so good (Jenson !)
couldn't agree more..brilliant race, great drive and a worthy win for Alonso...great to see those 3 on the podium.. And Hamilton will have something else to moan about now...shouldn't have driven Maldonado off the road, simples...with just one lap to go as well, shame!!..
Well, Valencia is usually BORING but that was awesome, best thing that happened was the safety car, changed the race, fair play to Alonso even though i don't like him he did well, laughed out loud at Lewis and Pastor...... shame about Grojean and even though he's a tit i was pleased for the old man Schumie..... but someone please give Kimi a smile injection jesus that bloke is so morbid he should be nicknamed the undertaker.
michael - although no doubt a brilliant driver in his prime was gifted a lot of his wins by the fact that formula 1 in the 90's was corrupt and heavily biased to the cheating and financial supremicy of ferarri.
Well I just hate the F1 website and email service was foxing to watch yesterday's grand prix and I get an email from them telling me Alonso wins the race, it's was even the heading of the email so I get no chance to ignore it.
