oily work is fine as long as floor protection is done and old oil is removed and taken home, you could do it on his ramp he will lend it and that would make it easier.

 

I helped someone do a gearbox oil change at the last but one TE, so I'm sure it will be fine. No spillages.

In fact I'm not sure it's accurate to say I helped either! I held the squirty bottles whilst the owner was under the van.

I have a hex key and am planning on coming so will put it in.

Halfords do handy 1 litre bottles of gear oil with a tube on which is just enough to be able to squirt in to the fill hole.

 

Yep I got 1 in the bus 17mm Alan key must make sure u can loosen filler before drain !! I'll be there anyways buddy
