Hi all, My wife and I purchased a 1973 Late Bay in May last year. Tom, at Clarkes Automotive in Swadlincote UK, has done a cracking job making the underside better than new, fitting a full French Slammer kit from Graham at Midland Early-Bay and fitting a 1.6 engine for us. Interior was re-trimmed by Kens Customs and is so retro we think we're in the 70s. He is now ready to start our adventures but for now, whilst we lock down, they are on hold. We have managed a few trips and 1000 miles so far with only one issue which was quickly fixed roadside (accelerator pin circlip came off). Here are a few images of Evan for you to have a look at and we will be doing a few subtle things to him over the coming months such as new side stripes and getting some of the sexy original paint back on show. Welcome from a very sunny Notts. Your bus looks great all round. Nice to see Keith has done another great job, he did us some upholstery work ~ five years ago and it still looks as good now.
