Eskdale Spring Dubfest 17/18/19th April 2015

The lovely people at Eskdale Caravan and Camping Club are putting on a VW camp again next year. Last year was the first and it sold out in 2 days.

This isn't a festival as such but a VW get together in a lovely part of the Lake District at a campsite with great facilities and very proactive owners. There are 3 pubs within a short distance, the Ratty railway, some lovely walking country.

Not sure how much it is, you have to phone them on Thurs 6th, they can't book anyone in before then.

 

We hope to join you for our first VW group camping - we are already members of the C&CC so will be great to combine the two.

 

Prices for 2014 low season(assume it is not mid season) are per person per night - Adult £7.90, child £2.75 service pitch - £3.85 non member pitch £7.20 - tents and motorhomes only - no caravans

 

They haven't announced any plans yet but last year they put on some kids activities at the site and the local pubs had live music.

if the weathers better we may get to the top of scafell, if it isn't we'll just get lost in the fog like last time.....
if zoe and john are going i will try and brew up some banana rum as zoe never got to try it last time.

yes,,, and it will probably get booked up within a couple of days, it did last time. they don't however cram the place to overflowing like some places do...

 

get it finished and just throw a tarpaulin over, i'm sure it will be scorching hot that weekend.
